At Trade Fire, we understand how important it is for engineers to be fully equipped when servicing fire extinguishers, especially when travelling across different sites. This is why we have created an engineer’s van stock section on the website, which has everything you need to stock your engineers van including the below:

Anti-tamper seals – The anti-tamper seals are used in order to show if a fire extinguisher has or has not been tampered with. The seal will fit all extinguishers and is fitted through the safety pin and around the handles.
Fire extinguishers – It is ideal to have fire extinguishers in your van in case the fire extinguisher you are servicing needs to be replaced.
Extended service / refill completed neck ring discs – The disc is used in order to show when an extended service / discharge test is carried out on a fire extinguisher. This is required at the 5 yearly discharge date.
Foam refills – the foam refill is ideal to use on foam fire extinguishers for 6ltr and 9ltr foam fire extinguishers.
Photoluminescent signs – The photoluminescent signs are required to be placed above the fire extinguisher to demonstrate to the relevant person what fires the extinguisher cannot and can be used on. Photoluminescent signs glow in the dark.
Servicing tool kit – The servicing tool kit includes all the essentials you would need to service a fire extinguisher such as screwdrivers, drill bits, gauge dots and anti-tamper seals.
Gauge tester – The gauge tester tests the pressure of the fire extinguisher by pumping pressure into the gauge opposite to the pressure applied by the contents of the extinguisher. The tester will check if the pressure is stuck in a certain position and if the gauge operates correctly.
Gauge dots – Gauge dots show when the fire extinguisher was last serviced and when the gauge was tested. The year is stamped onto the dots and are a requirement when the fire extinguisher has its annual maintenance.
