The Tube Based Suppression System (Foam) - Indirect System, is designed to swiftly tackle fires in high-risk enclosed spaces. For example, cabinets, generators, engines and wind turbines.
This is an indirect system, meaning that the extinguishing agent is discharged from a metal conduit across multiple high risk points. The agent is discharged after the heat sensitive tube breaks, which causes the pressure to drop and the metal conduit to tackle the fire.
This fire suppression system uses foam. Foam is highly effective and a fantastic choice for swiftly tackling fires in industrial areas.
Classification: Works on class A, B fires and those involving flammable liquids. Effective on a wide range of flammable and combustible liquids such as oil and petrol.
Self- Actuated: Does not require any power supply and will function normally in the event of a power outage.
24-hour Protection: Automatic detection and actuation controls ensure fire protection is always ‘on’.
Flexible Design: Flexible tubing allows protection in areas that are difficult to access and may not be able to accommodate any other means of detection.
International Quality Standards: Manufactured to the highest global and national standards like BSI, ISI and CE. The system is also BSI tested for Forced and Natural Air Flow cabinet applications.
Rugged Design: Can withstand even harsh conditions where other types of detection systems might be rendered inadequate.
