The FireShield ABC Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher range is a versatile, multi-purpose collection of dry powder fire extinguishers that are capable of tackling Class A, B, C and electrical fires swiftly.
Due to their versatility, these fire extinguishers can be used across a variety of locations, including general offices, homes, vehicles, boats, hotels and much more.
FireShield has designed this extinguisher to be extremely durable with MED approvals on the 6kg and 9kg models, CE-marks, a corrosion-resistant cylinder and brass valve assemblies. Alongside this, the outer casing of a FireShield ABC can withstand harsh weather conditions.

A. ABC dry powder fire extinguishers can be used on Class A solid combustibles, Class B flammable liquids, Class C flammable gases and electrical fires.
Class A – Solid Combustibles (wood, paper, cloth etc.)
Class B – Flammable Liquids (oils, solvents, alcohol, gasoline etc.)
Class C – Flammable Gases (propane, butane, petroleum gases etc)
A. The canister has a red body, a blue banner running along the top section labelling it POWDER, and a horn-shaped nozzle. White capitalised text is used for the POWDER label.
A. ABC dry powder fire extinguishers are commonly found in fabrication industries, industrial units, outside events, garage forecourts, businesses with large boiler rooms, LPG dispensing plants, welding or flame cutting businesses.
A. All our portable fire extinguishers are supplied ready for use, but those with larger capacities may need to be filled and charged prior to the first time they’re used. The product listing will explain this clearly.
A. Fire extinguishers must be serviced every 12 months, this is known as the “basic service”. This service should be performed in accordance with British Standard BS5036-3 and conducted by a third-party, appropriately trained technician.
A. This depends entirely on what you are trying to extinguish, below are some examples of fires you could encounter.
Class A – Solid Combustibles (wood, paper, cloth etc.)
