The Hochiki CHQ-WS2(WHT) is an addressable, loop-powered wall sounder designed to deliver a variety of tones and volume levels, with a maximum output of up to 102dB(A) (±2dB(A)) while maintaining low current consumption. The device is compatible with the Standard Base (YBO-R/3(WHT)) or the Isolator Base (YBO-R/SCI(WHT/SNDR)).

Rated IP21 for indoor use, the sounder can be upgraded for external or weather-exposed environments using the CHQ-WPK(WHT) Weatherproof Kit, which includes a dedicated back box and gasket set.

The unit also features an automatic shutdown function, allowing users to configure a set operating duration before the sounder silences itself—an effective solution for reducing noise pollution.
