The Pepperl+Fuchs KCD0-SD3-Ex1.1045 is a single-channel solenoid driver with a galvanically isolated barrier, designed for intrinsically safe operation in hazardous areas.

It powers solenoids, LEDs, and audible alarms in Zone 0, 1, and 2 environments while maintaining safe electrical isolation from the control side.

Loop-powered from the input signal, it eliminates the need for separate power supplies, making it ideal for compact control panels and DIN-rail installations. At full load, it delivers up to 10 V at 45 mA to the hazardous area.

With SIL 3 capability, test pulse immunity, and full ATEX and IECEx approvals, the KCD0-SD3-Ex1.1045 is suited to safety-critical industrial applications requiring reliable intrinsically safe output switching.
