The FireShield 9kg L2 Dry Powder Fire Extinguisher is a specialist fire extinguisher designed to tackle lithium metal fires. The L2 Fire Extinguisher is ideally suitable for workshops or laboratories where manufacturing processes may involve the risk of metal fires.

These Extinguishers are designed to fight Lithium Fires by using the lance applicator, this will prevent the burning powder or swarf from being spread. The unique lance applicator is designed to allow the powder to fall gently over the fire

Q. Do your extinguishers come fully serviced and ready to use on delivery?

A. All our portable fire extinguishers are supplied ready for use, but those with larger capacities may need to be filled and charged prior to the first time they’re used. The product listing will explain this clearly.

A. Fire extinguishers must be serviced every 12 months, this is known as the “basic service”. This service should be performed in accordance with British Standard BS5036-3 and conducted by a third-party, appropriately trained technician.
